Ruth Trennepohl, the pastor’s wife, grew up in a Christian home where her parents emphasized godly living and sacrificial service for Christ. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was five years old. Ruth is a graduate of Bob Jones University and has almost 40 years of ministry experience as a Christian school teacher, a missionary, and a pastor’s wife. She has a burden for the spiritual well-being of the women of our community.
Ruth invites the ladies of our church, and the surrounding community, to attend a weekly Bible study with her. During the school year, the ladies gather in her home at 10:00 on Friday mornings for a time of fellowship and biblical instruction. Recent series include an in-depth study of The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan and Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Women of all ages and backgrounds will benefit from these insightful and practical studies. In addition, you will meet other women who have similar needs and questions about the Christian life. Investing about an hour of your time each Friday could make all the difference in your life.
These weekly lessons will help both the new Christian as well as the mature believer to grow in the Lord. Regardless of your prior knowledge of the Bible, Ruth presents the material in a way that is accessible to all. This weekly meeting will encourage you to walk with God and will give you the spiritual tools to do so.
